Civana Resort and Spa, Carefree Arizona takes ‘Best Public Space’ at NEWH Arizona’s annual awards ceremony

We are happy to announce that the lobby at Civana Resort and Spa has been recognized as Arizona’s best public space by NEWH Arizona. The unique wellness destination is located in Carefree Arizona, North of Scottsdale in the Sonoran Desert.

The vision for the new Civana Lobby was to create a harmonious ‘modern desert’ feel with a tonal but textural color palette that provides guests with a visual sense of calm and grounded feeling upon arrival.

The sculptural rope dividers follow the curved floor transition between wood and tile and allow the space to feel open but with some intimacy especially during the check in experience. The Tambour wood clad walls and reception pods provide a rhythmic and natural background while the library space invites guest to hang out and meet other people or find a moment of calm in the mediation corner.
