“One of the core values of our brand is health and wellness which we promote in all aspects of our lives. Being able to design indoor environments based around a scientific framework of health benefits for the occupants, gives us the opportunity to make a significant impact to those who occupy the spaces we create. The concepts result in tangible benefits which we can relate to through physical and emotional enhancements. Better health and welfare brings not only results to the individuals but also to the companies they work for with increased productivity, collaboration and employee satisfaction. We are excited to be part of the WELL community and seeing the WELL Building Standard become implemented into all industry sectors including hospitality.”

The WELL AP credential is the new, leading credential signifying advanced knowledge of health and well-being in the built environment and specialization in the WELL Building Standard (WELL).

WELL APs have successfully passed the WELL AP exam, an assessment based on the expertise of leading practitioners in the field of design, health and wellness in the built environment. Developed using GBCI’s rigorous test development best practices, the WELL AP exam is designed to test a candidate’s knowledge and proficiency in building wellness and the principles, practices and applications of the WELL Building Standard. The WELL AP Exam was launched in October 2015 and was complemented by a comprehensive educational program.

The WELL Building Standard is the first building standard to focus exclusively on the health and wellness of the people in buildings. WELL is an evidence and performance-based system for measuring, certifying and monitoring features that impact human health and well-being in the built environment, through air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort and mind.
