BLUEHARTS HOCKEY CLUB & HITCHIN CRICKET CLUB

A project very close to our hearts where our involvement helped secure the future for these two amateur sports clubs.

Hitchin Cricket Club (“HCC”) was formed in 1866 and moved to the present site in Lucas Lane in 1947 followed soon afterwards by Blueharts Hockey Club (“BHC”).

With the existing facilities not meeting the standards of the modern games, we secured planning permission on a disused parcel of land for an enabling housing development where the funds were used to build a brand new set of facilities consisting of a clubhouse, all weather pitch and a new score-box with additional changing rooms.
